The Telford Borough Council Workshop meeting held this date was called to order at 7:30 p.m. by President J. Allen Landis with the following members in attendance: Carolyn Crouthamel, Scott Hillegass, Jeffrey Maxwell, Stanley Nyce, James Schaeffer and Mayor David Snook. Also present were Manager Mark Fournier, Recording Secretary Megan McShane, Ann Weiss from Timoney Knox and a press reporter. Robert Baker was absent.

 

The Pledge of Allegiance was performed.

 

PUBLIC HEARING:

 

Council President J. Allen Landis announced that there would be a Public Hearing to discuss Tax Levy Ordinance #403.

 

The Public Hearing opened at 7:31 pm. There were no comments from the audience and the Public Hearing was closed at 7:32 pm.

 

FINANCE AND ADMINISTRATIVE COMMITTEE: Mr. Hillegass

 

A-1       A Hillegass/Crouthamel motion carried 4-2 adopting the 2015 Budget. Jeffrey Maxwell and Stanley Nyce opposed.

 

A-2       A Hillegass/Schaeffer motion carried unanimously (6-0) adopting Ordinance # 402, which implements a Local Services Tax, effective January 1, 2015.

 

A-3       A Hillegass/Crouthamel motion carried unanimously (6-0) adopting Ordinance # 403, the Tax Levy Ordinance for 2015.

 

OTHER BUSINESS:

 

The meeting was adjourned at 7:35 pm by a Hillegass/Crouthamel motion.
