			<title>About Telford Borough</title>
			<link>http://www.telfordborough.org/content/view/50/</link>
			<description>

Like many small communities, Telford Borough has been impacted by large-scale malls and smaller strip malls located outside the Borough.

Recently Telford Borough and her neighbor, Souderton Borough, have joined forces and formed the Souderton – Telford Main Streets (http://www.stmainst.org) Program a non-profit organization designed to encourage revitalization of both boroughs.

We look forward to positive changes, while still nurturing the small town atmosphere.

			<title>The American Disabilities Act Accessibility Guidelines</title>
			<link>http://www.telfordborough.org/content/view/31/70/</link>
			<description>
The American Disabilities Act Accessibility Guidelines (ADAAG) is
effective for any renovations, major alterations and most new
construction situations that commenced since January 26, 1992.

Enforcement of the Act rests with the United States Department of
Justice. Compliance with the Telford Borough Building Code may not
relieve you of your responsibility to comply with the ADAAG. The
Borough’s review of your submission will be based upon the adopted
building code (2000 Int. Building Code as amended) but will not be
pursuant to the ADAAG, which is responsibility of the applicant.

A shed over 100-sq. ft. must have a foundation and is not considered
portable. Therefore a shed of more than 100 sq. ft cannot be placed
with three (3) feet of the rear and /or side property lines (See
exhibit “F”).

EASEMENTS are a right of way by another for the purpose of access to
utilities by the Borough, Utility Company, or 3rd party (other than the
owner). Easements must be kept free clear of any structures,
fences or change in grade by the owner of the property.
